Are you having issues with your catalog loading?
Is your file displaying errors during the load process?
Below you will find some quick tips that will help you with your catalog process:
- All files must be saved in .csv format.
- The standard naming convention must be used for the data to be properly loaded - suppliername_catalogtype_DDMMYYYY.csv.
- If your file contains leading zeros, double-check they are still appearing after saving the file in a .csv format.
- Any special characters that are not visible on a normal keyboard must be excluded from the catalog. These include ®, ™, ℠ as examples. HTML characters are not considered special characters and will be accepted. For perfect content, please make sure the catalog is in UTF-8 format.
- Do not change the catalog header column names. Due to the nature of the data loading process, the header names must remain as they are.
- If your products need detailed or personalized information, leverage the additional attributes catalog. This will ensure your buyer has the best experience with your products.
